OUR MISSION
We strive to raise awareness of the challenges faced by communities in post-conflict regions. By promoting a message of diplomacy and peace, we aim to draw attention to the plight of children in war-torn countries who have been overlooked by the world. These areas grapple with unstable economies, severely damaged infrastructure and a lack of basic necessities, including food and clean water. Focusing on diplomacy, we seek to inspire other young people to become advocates for peace worldwide.
Our mission is to bring hope and joy in small ways to children living in these difficult circumstances, whose lives have been disrupted and displaced by geopolitical conflicts or local fighting. By partnering with refugee centers in desperate need of supplies, we ship backpacks filled with essentials, from toothbrushes to school supplies.
We hope to provide children in these conflict zones with a sense of fun, excitement and relief, reminding them that other kids around the world are thinking of them.
Developing Diplomacy was founded in 2023 by Kaizar Doriwala, a student at The Maret School in Washington DC. The organization was incorporated as a Virginia Non-Stock Corporation in 2024. Inspired by his selection as a Youth Ambassador for the US Department of State Youth Ambassador Program, Kaizar established the organization to raise awareness about the challenges faced by communities in post-conflict regions. His mission is to inspire his generation to become future leaders by promoting diplomacy and taking meaningful action to improve the lives of innocent children affected by geopolitics, war, and conflict through Developing Diplomacy and similar initiatives. Kaizar Doriwala is a rising 11th grader and enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and volunteering in his local community in his free time.
